Detecting multiuser

Mac and Linux are always installed as multiuser so those are automatic.

On Windows you could use the Directory= entry in the notes.ini and try to determine if the path specified is a multiuser location but even single user installs could have the data directory under the user's profile. The SharedDataDirectory= line typically only exists on multiuser installs so perhaps using a combination of both values would work.

Alternatively the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lotus\Notes\MultiUser also indicates the installed client type (0 or single, 1 for multi) on 32bit Windows. (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lotus\Notes for 64bit)
